Bryan's National and International Reviews

Yamaha Behind the Scenes: "Bryan Pezzone [is] one of the most versatile pianists in Los Angeles, as well as one of the busiest. After all, how many pianists can play a concerto, play by ear, read anything thrown in front of him, and record Pop, Rock, Broadway, Jazz and more with equal skill and sensitivity? It is safe to say that Bryan is the foremost free-lance pianist for film and television soundtrack recording, contemporary music premieres, and chamber music working today. He's also one of our most prolific Pianosoft performers. From our perspective as PianoSoft producers, we selfishly enjoy his tremendous diversity, skill and artistic performances."

Los Angeles Times: "Bryan Pezzone is a wonderful pianist, whose exacting touch and gamey sense of adventure make him a favorite of the Los Angeles new music scene...his crisp, meaningful playing were exemplar."

Los Angeles Times: "...the program started well with a spontaneous improvisation by Pezzone in the style of Gershwin...strikingly reminiscent of the sort of pianistically effusive style present in recordings of Gershwin himself." "Pezzone's remarkably quick-fingered technique was always a primary factor."

The Star: "The first part of the concert was divided between Pezzone at the piano, improvising 'in the style of Mozart' and interspersing movements from Mozart sonatas, and Pezzone at the microphone in free association commentary about Mozart's 'honesty, clarity, transcendence and elegance.' Pezzone segued as the mood struck him, moving effortlessly to Miles Davis' 'Blue and Green' and finally to a brief reprise of an improvisation on 'We Shall Overcome' that moved audiences as strongly this year as last."

Ventura County Star: "Premiers of Pezzone's own 'Counterpop' and Cesar Mateus' 'Pezzo di Luna' showed diverse aspects of creativity. 'Counterpop' - which opens with a Bach chorale theme, the melancholy 'O Sacred Head Surrounded', and fans out into a world of stylistic variations - was witness to Pezzone's boundless pianistic skills and all-encompassing vision."

Jamaica's Royal Plantation Spa and Golf Resort Review: "...intended to massage the minds of the audience, Pezzone's prowess on the piano was effortless and it was a pleasure to listen to and watch his fingers gliding over the ivories, delicately and easily taking his audience on a hypnotic musical journey."
